During a session “Advanced materials and nanotechnologies for low carbon green energy” speakers, among whom was Artur Kupczunas, investigated the different ways low carbon energy technologies rely on advanced material solutions to achieve cost reduction, higher performance, longer lifetime and reduced resource dependency. Sophie Mailley, Project Manager at CEA, Alejandro Perez-Rodríguez, Head of Solar Energy Materials & Systems Group at IREC, John Bogild Hansen, Senior Research Engineer at Haldor Topsoe A/S and Artur were discussing advanced material solutions developed, manufactured and commercialized by Europe-based high tech industry and how they will improve in the future the whole value chain of energy production and delivery.
