Last Tuesday Dr Olga Malinkiewicz, invited by Cambridge University Scientific Society, gave a talk at Cambridge University about the nature and market potential of perovskite solar cells.
Cambridge University Scientific Society is one of the oldest and most famous student societies in the UK and the largest and most-far reaching science society in Cambridge. SciSoc organizes talks by eminent scientists to stimulate both graduates and undergraduates of all scientific shades.
Every year SciSoc invites 16 scientists from all over the world to speak about their research to Cambridge students and professors. Only this year among the speakers SciSoc had 2 Nobel prize laureates: Sir Tim Hunt and Sir John Ernest Walker.
“It has been an honour to be invited and have an opportunity to speak in Cambridge. I am always happy to share my experiences from my work as a researcher with colleagues who are at the beginning of their scientific journey. Many thanks to the Cambridge University Scientific Society for the invitation” β says Olga.
