Olga Malinkiewicz for Nature Materials

Olga Malinkiewicz, founder and CTO of Saule Technologies, discusses her transition from academia to industry in an essay article for Nature Materials. 

Olga was invited by the prestigious journal Nature Materials to describe her experience with commercializing a scientific breakthrough. The article’s title, “Building on trust and vision,” reveals the powerful message of the text.

They also had the courage and determination to trust me, too, a young scientist they didn’t know, and joined me down the path of Saule Technologies. Above all else, they saw my vision on the unique potential of perovskite solar cells, and we believed that we could achieve something meaningful together.”
