Skanska is pioneering a method of covering office building exteriors with semi-transparent perovskite solar cells, provided by Saule Technologies, on a commercial scale. The final product is expected to be ready for implementation in late 2021. Skanska considers the next projects for implementation.

Barrier foil with an optional transparent conductive layer for optoelectronic applications. Ergis, in collaboration with our experts, develops films suitable for thin-film photovoltaics. Desired properties are high transparency, flexibility, excellent barrier properties, and an embedded transparent conductive layer which can be further patterned.
