11 entities challenge climate change by signing the Green Transformation Charter on Friday, May 21. Among the leaders are Saule Technologies and Columbus Energy.
The Green Transformation Charter is a document created on the initiative of the Carbon Footprint Foundation, signed by companies that are aware of the scale of their activities and the impact on the environment. Members who are mindful of the ongoing climate crisis have committed themselves to care for the environment together. The postulates of the Green Transformation Charter include: reducing greenhouse emissions, transparent strategy, responsibility, carbon footprint, protagonism, engagement, setting requirements, environmental equity, support, and adequacy.
– The anxiety related to the rapidly advancing climate change was one of the factors that motivated me the most to undertake intensive research on perovskites. Together with Saule Technologies, I am proud to be at the forefront of critical initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve climate neutrality by 2050, and perhaps even earlier. We signed the Green Transformation Charter with full responsibility and, at the same time, hoping that more companies will follow us and the ten entities that have already confirmed their commitment. I believe that together we have real driving power and strength to change this world for the better – says Olga Malinkiewicz, CTO and founder of Saule Technologies.
With the Green Transformation Charter, the entities: Saule Technologies, Columbus Energy, Columbus Elite, Nexity, MVGM, Skanska, Somfy, Miasto Piastów, British-Polish Chamber of Commerce, Polish Alternative Fuels Association, and ECR Polska have jointly committed to taking specific measures to limit climate change.
