Olga Malinkiewicz was a special guest on the tenth episode of the television show Sonda 2. During the conversation with the host, she presented a prototypical module of an ultra-thin and flexible perovskite solar cell which is able to charge electronic devices. The audience could observe how the prototypical module charged a smartphone, using artificial lighting available in the studio.
The host of the programme is PhD Tomasz RoΕΌek, physicist and science journalist. Olga Malinkiewicz, in conversation with the host, discussed a predominance of perovskite solar cells over silicon cells. Thanks to the thinness and flexibility of perovskite cells, the range of their use is much wider than in present-day technology.
